The continental breakfast was delicious with homemade jam and toast. the location near the lake, steamer quay, village center, and nearby pubs and bars was marvelous.

Location close to Bowness-on-Windermere. Also, to the Lake District for many years.

The room we stayed in was a little small but as we only stayed two nights we managed. The hoasts were great and the breakfast choice was good, with a little humour thrown in by colin which was funny.

The hotel had delicious breakfasts with homemade jam and biscuits. the setting was fantastic, just off the pier and beautiful lake view. - I have stayed here before and would stay here again.

This guest house is perfectly placed away from the busy roads yet under a minute's walk from the centre of town. A lovely couple run this place and look after you from the moment you walk through the door, the full breakfast alone is perfect and set us up for the days walking. Look forward to our next stay there.

The hotel was in a perfect location very close to all shops and eateries in Bowness-on-Windermere. the staff was really helpful and helped make our 2-day stay a very good experience. - They served great milk and toast.

The staff was very friendly. We stayed with our 16 month old son and the room was big enough to accommodate the 3 of us (including cot). I liked that the bathroom had a bath. The full English breakfast was good and my husband was also happy with his veggie breakfast.

We had to take our travel cot as they did not have one. They did have a high chair, though!

Location of guest house perfect for a short walk to the centre of Bowness. Breakfast very good. Hosts friendly and helpful

Rooms could have been cleaner ( carpets needed a good hoover!) We booked this guest house as it said online it was suitable for taking a cot in the rooms but space was very limited. Bathroom small and again not cleaned properly.

The room is spotless with a nice view and free Wi-Fi, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is great, close to a modern area with a pub and the town center.

The location of this guest house is absolutely perfect, with a stunning view of Lake Windermere. The couple running the place were incredibly friendly and provided outstanding hospitality. The breakfast provided was delicious, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to the highest standard, especially during these challenging times. Despite the small bathroom and limited parking options, I still found the room to be good value for money. I would highly recommend staying at this guest house.
